So overall it8217s been very positive had the trader followed all of the signals. But like I mentioned the results will vary but everyone should have good gains over the last 3 weeks. Those that had the chance to check the market once or twice during the day between my emails, could amp did close several trades for big gains banking profits. How is anyone qualified as to whether or not something works if they glance at it and haven8217t actually used it. If any trending method works in a trending market then you are rich I guess. All methods don8217t work in trending markets because if you don8217t get a good entry the trade is likely to retrace against you causing you to exit, only to see it turn back around on you. Anyone making any money with the strategies Yes I have been using the trailing stop for several reasons, to lock in some profits amp to minimize losses. I was not aware that there are still platforms that don8217t offer the trailing stop option. Every major broker in the US offers this option as far as I know, but these are not 8220spread betting8221 accounts as offered in the UK. There are two types of trailing stops, fixed amp dynamic. Using 60 pips as an example, the fixed will move up by 60 pips, but only when the price moves by 60 pips, and it will move up every time price moves 60 pips. The dynamic trails the market price pip by pip, and anytime price reverses by 60 pips it will close the position. I used 60 pips in the example because this was the trailing stop used in the recommendation on Friday to Sell AUDUSD at 1.0490. As of the time I am writing this, that trade is profitable by around 100 pips. If you chose the fixed 60 pip TS you would have already banked it. If the dynamic TS was used, 55 pips have been locked in amp the trade is still open. If no TS was used, the trade can be closed if chosen to do so since it8217s up by about 100 pips. This can also be applied to the losses on Tue amp Wed, using the dynamic TS would make those losses smaller. As I am away quiet a lot these days I have not been able to try out any of the suggestions in the book. Anyone got any results to report using 1on1 It would be great to hear form some successful users. A good place to start would be the UMAP strategy. I8217m using it on 1 hour and sometimes 4 hours charts, but it can be used on any timescale to suit yourself. If you8217ve not traded much before then search the internet for the candlestick pattern used, and demo trade for a few weeks. This should give you a feeling for how the candlestick can look, it8217s not always that obvious. In fact I suspect different people would take different trades with this. One downside is that once the trade is open, you need to keep checking the charts, as the TP value is dynamic. There8217s also a lot of losing trades so your mindset needs to be right for that too. Overall it won8217t set your world on fire, but makes nice steady gains every month. I made some changes weeks back but not good enough amp I will be the first to admit that. Anybody that sells a product who gets defensive or attacks when criticized tells you a lot about their character, I will never be that person. So where does the signal service stand Right now I8217m not sure as I will be sending the alerts to only myself as there are only a handful of subscribers left, and I don8217t blame them. I tried to cater too much by sending alerts at a time I thought was convenient, I tried to make the stops too small amp not consistent with the setups etc. Basically I deviated from what I know works in an effort to suit others. Not to minimize the losing recommendations, but doing this had the effect I was trying to avoid. Going forward the signals may have bigger stops, to allow for proper eb amp flow with certain setups. There may be days with no recommendations as doing nothing is often the right thing to do. Basically I will be going back to what I know works instead of trying to please others. This sounds harsh and some might take it the wrong way, please don8217t as it will provide a better trading service in the end. Many of the profitable trades I take were not in the daily email because they took place at different times of the day. That is the reason I made the PDF course amp the paperback book to begin with, to teach traders a way to trade on their own without help from anyone. Even though the signal service has not been that great so far, please don8217t assume that the course is the same. I have had very positive feedback from the course for years. It teaches you how to adapt so you can switch time frames amp strategies and find the ones that are setting up. Another point to keep in mind is that some of the best traders have strike rates of 50. The reason they are so good is that when the market has big trending moves, they hold tight with their positions and add to them. This more than makes up for the many losses. Right now trading for the most part is choppy with big moves up amp down. Many forex pairs are bipolar at the moment. Had I started the signal service months ago when pairs were trending very strong, everyone would be saying I was the best thing since sliced bread. Yes you will take some losing trades but what strategy doesn8217t Even with a hypothetical strike rate of 40-60 you can still make a lot of money. The reason is that this is a very aggressive strategy, and when you get stopped out you only lose the range of one bar, being the bar before the entry bar. But when you are correct you can profit on the rise or decline of many bars. This makes for excellent riskreward as the gains are often 5,10 or more bars or candles. For example there were several great trades on Friday, just to look at one day. All trades were on the 15 minute and took place between 7am 8211 11:15am US time, 12 noon 8211 4:15pm UK time. These took place during the UK-US overlap but happen all the time on all time frames. You will get more trades on the shorter time frames during these times because of the overlap of US amp UK markets, but the strategy can set up at all times of the day on different time frames. They will usually last 1-5 days, but can last a week or two if going for large targets. Yes it is set amp forget, I send out daily emails and if a change needs to be made to the stop or target, it will be included. You will need to be able to check your email at least once a day. An example is the GBPUSD sell trade we are in now. It8217s been open for several days amp positive currently by 60 pips. At one point it was positive by 140 pips. Our target is 255 pips which could take several days. After the trade went positive I emailed to reduce our stop (risk). The rewardrisk on the trade is now 4:1. Just an example of how the service works. Larry Palmer 1on1fx I will certainily consider both yr e-book amp signal service in the very near future as I8217m currently using another signal service until this expires. In the meantime, would appreciate if you can post the daily results since you started enhancing the signal service. The signals are focused on larger targets of 100, 200, 300 pips etc. and can remain open for several days with good rewardrisk of 2:1, 3:1, 4:1, 5:1 etc. Because of this it8217s better to show overall results as day to day results are hard with trades being open for several days quite often. When trades are open longer than one day, I sometimes will email with suggestions such as reducing the stop to lower our risk profile, or changing the target. The fx market changes quickly so sometimes we will need to adapt the trade with what the charts amp the market is showing. Because of this the results can vary from trader to trader. Some may close early, some may let the trade play out. I will do my best to show the overall results from the past 3 weeks since the positive changes were made. Currently we have one open trade that is positive by 60 pips last time I checked. The target is 255 pips with a stop that has now been adjusted to 60 pips. At one point the trade was positive by 140 pips, some may have closed for profits, some may still be in the trade. We had 2 long trades on EURJPY amp USDJPY. One was positive by 150 pips, just shy of the target. The other was positive by 125 pips, also shy of target. I sent out an update to adjust stops, then a second update to close positions amp take profits as I thought the pairs would decline which they did significantly the next day. At the time the email went out the total profit would have been around 100 pips for the two. I received emails from some traders that closed both for 100 pips each because that8217s what they wanted to do instead of going for the bigger targets. We had 8 trades that did not trigger. I get emails with concerns about this. A trade that doesn8217t trigger should not be viewed as negative. It simply means the trade didn8217t go in the direction. That8217s ok because they did not result in losses. The other trades which make up winners amp losers totaled around plus 60 pips. These opened amp hit the stop or target without any adjustments. So overall it8217s been very positive had the trader followed all of the signals. But like I mentioned the results will vary but everyone should have good gains over the last 3 weeks. Those that had the chance to check the market once or twice during the day between my emails, could amp did close several trades for big gains banking profits. I definately see this trend continuing as the signals will have a lot of emphasis on big rewardrisk instead of trying to get pips little by little. It is also more interactive now as I will be emailing any adjustments that need to be made according to any fundemental changes in the market. An example was when I emailed to close the JPY pairs amp take profits as the Yen was showing strength. So fundamentals combined with technical analysis amp very favorable rewardrisk ratios will be the direction of this service. Larry Palmer 1on1fx Well I bought the course and honestly I am surprised. I8217m no expert but not a noobie either. I8217ve read books by very well known authors that dont have this much detail. I tried my first trade using one of the strategies the reviewer mentioned on GBPUSD early morning amp banked 50 pips. I also back tested a couple of the strategies and it looks very promising so far Thank you for the kind comments. I am no marketer per say, and I made the coursebook because I remember when I started trading how difficult it was to find good information without a bunch of nonsense that I could actually put to use. People sometimes ask, 8220if you have a profitable system why tell anybody8221. The forex market is so large it really doesn8217t matter amp doesn8217t make an impact. I am going to make my money trading no matter how many people buy it. Also, trading full time is pretty boring although the money is exciting, branching out is only natural as with any other career. Any trending method can work in trending markets but markets are often not trending. There is no explanation on defining a trend other than Macd and ema8217s but you will get your arse handed to you if you used those methods in what turns out to be a range and there is no magic crystal to tell you whether the market will range in advance. What I found particulalry worrying was on one method you were boasting that you would risk 75 of your account on one particular trade set-up. If this does not send alarm bells ringing to people I do not know what will. I am very dissapointed in what I saw in the ebook given the hype in this review. No need to be sorry about 8220spoiling8221 the party, this site was meant for people to express their views. You mention 8220alarm8221 bells. What sends alarm bells to me is someone who 8220had a glance8221 as you put it, at the ebook that a friend bought. How is anyone qualified as to whether or not something works if they glance at it and haven8217t actually used it. If any trending method works in a trending market then you are rich I guess. All methods don8217t work in trending markets because if you don8217t get a good entry the trade is likely to retrace against you causing you to exit, only to see it turn back around on you. MACD amp ema8217s are not used alone and are combined with other techniques, and are not part of every strategy. Price is most important amp I stress that in the course. Those indicators are only a small part of a few of the strategies. If those indicators were what the course was about, surely someone would have mentioned that already with disgust The strategy you refer to as sending alarm bells is the only strategy that I8217m that aggressive with. I risk that much because the stop is always just one bar, and the reward is much more than the risk. I stress in bold amp underline that the stop is always just one candle, so you won8217t lose 50 on a single trade obviously. On smaller time frames this can be 5-15 pips. I don8217t advise traders to risk this much, I just state that I do because it8217s a high odds setup if used correctly after you have experience with it. As far as the 8220hype8221 in the review, the reviewer made 73 pips I believe on 4 trades using the strategy that is sending you alarm bells. Larry has always replied to my e-mails within 24 hours before now and was talking about adding other pairs to the service. For him to suddenly stop sending out the daily e-mails and not reply to any of mine makes me wonder if something bad has happened, but I have no way of finding out8230. That8217s why I8217m asking here, in case anyone knows something that I don8217t. Last I heard from Larry was on the 3rd June.
